Please read J.D.’s thanks to the class below:

To the Texas A&M University Class of ’80,

I can’t begin to express how deeply honored and humbled I am to have received the Class of ’80 Selfless Service Core Value Award. Since 1876, Texas A&M has represented respect, excellence, leadership, loyalty, integrity, and selfless service, and has instilled each of these values in its graduates. Your classes’ commitment to perpetuating these values has not only influenced my personal journey but has inspired countless students at our university. Your leadership has undoubtedly left a lasting mark on this institution, serving as an example to future generations of Aggies.

I am so grateful for the opportunities Texas A&M has provided, not only for academic and professional growth, but also for serving others. This great university’s emphasis on selfless service has instilled in me an understanding of the power of giving back and the importance of making a positive impact on the lives of others. As I enter into this next season of life, I am inspired to continue embracing the value of selfless service in my future career.

Once again, I am so grateful for your generosity, dedication to service, and for this remarkable honor.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you and Gig ’em Aggies!
